I realize that one can simply buy used parts of salvage bikes for pennies on the dollar. Thus, Iwe won't try to sell large pieces of running gear, like swing arms, forks, or wheels. There are some parts that are just not right if not tailored from new. Other parts are too specific, they just don't seem right off of their original model.

Did you consider that your new carbs require a greater "throw" than your stock throttle can give them? If you opted for Big in the piston department, you'll need to run a one-into-two cable that can fully open 38mm carbs. And if you went for Huge, you'll need a push-pull unit driving split cables that need at least 41mm. All of those below are 'quick' throttles; they don't require much of a twist to open the carb bore completely. WOT is a breeze and it makes it no chore to embarass other riders.

I realize that a lot of after-market throttles can be had for twenty dollars or less, but most of them are only able to open throttles up to 32mm. And they make a big deal of it if they can acheive fully opening a 36mm. Worse, they are all the cheapest possible plastic. Light and smooth, and good-looking, they'll enhance the value of your build. Pistons and cams are expensive. So is bending up custom exhausts. Don't forget adapting more modern forks, wheels, swing arms, and all the other little deails. These are a detail that radiates quality. Your bike deserves one. You deserve one.

Domino Mostro Single Pull Throttle
